Risk management
If the operating risks of a system have not been properly assessed, the result in many cases is an incalculable risk for the operators. This can endanger the entire economic success of the project.
So as to minimize these risks, and largely exclude additional costs, we offer our investors a profession risk-management service. We check the quality and worth of a system. We take on the entire “due diligence”: that is to say, we draw up a systematic analysis of its strengths and weaknesses, and carry out a well-founded assessment of the project.
If all the risks are to be reduced as far as possible, there are many factors to be taken into account. These include, for example, guarantee agreements with the manufacturers of the components, insurance for the risks, and drawing up maintenance contracts.
Many questions have to be clarified and regulated in advance. For example, are the guarantee conditions unambiguous? Who is liable in the event of damage? To what extent can any claims be pursued in practice? How can shortfalls in power or yield be proved, technically and legally?
We address these questions, together with the cabinet Schwarzlawyers, who are active internationally and experienced in matters of renewable energy systems. We have developed a reliable scheme for minimizing the risks of a project and assuring the profitability of an installation.
